Zambia is sometimes considered Africa’s best-kept secret by safari aficionados. Our safari camps are best described as rustic yet refined — small, intimate lodges that focus on warm hospitality, personal service, and a deep connection to the surrounding wilderness. Guests often arrive as visitors and leave feeling like part of the family!

For first-time visitors to Zambia, we recommend spending a minimum of 8 nights, ideally split between Livingstone, the South Luangwa and Lower Zambezi National Park. If you're looking to experience the absolute best the country has to offer, this is the itinerary we’ll design for you – a seamless journey through Zambia’s most iconic and unforgettable destinations.

It’s important to note that Zambia’s safari season is more seasonal than some other African destinations. The dry season, from June to October, is the prime time for game viewing, offering exceptional wildlife encounters and easier animal spotting as water sources shrink. During the green season (mid-November to April), some camps close due to rains, though certain areas remain accessible and offer lush scenery, birding and fewer crowds.
